Local Action Pistol Match on a super hot day

This is my first time shooting action pistol match at California Tactical Academy. There were 6 stages but i forgot to record one of them. I was new to the scoring system but quickest way to describe it is that you MUST shoot all the black targets and when you shoot the white targets you will get negative bonus time. I was running my Springfield MC Operator 1911 with 5 10rnd magazines so I was under the limit 10 category. The weather was 100-109 degrees and I had a funky jam with my 1911 on stage3 where the round was stopping me from stripping it out even though my slide was lock back. I think this will happen when your the last round you loaded is not in the magazine all the way. 100 Burpees a day workout with pew pew in between

I’ve been doing 100 burpees a day and on the the second week while I was at the range I decided to do it there but also added a little fun by shooting my Springfield 1911 MC Operator in between each set. Check it out

Covid-19 and quarantine life

Been awhile since I posted something here so I thought I should share a few things here. Since most local gun shops and gun ranges are closed during this time so if you want to put your quarantine time to good use, now is the time to take all your guns out and clean them. Practice social distancing and if you have to go outside, please protection yourself at all times. Lucky for me I have my private property to roam around on and still living that pew pew life. #dirty1911 below
